Mickey Adams's Bio

Biography

Mickey Adams is the thunderous bassist whose deep roots in punk rock give Stage Fright its heavy, driving foundation. Raised in Detroit, Mickey was heavily influenced by the city’s underground punk scene, and his bass lines pulse with the same rebellious energy that defines the band’s sound. His ability to lock in with Chris Clark’s powerful drumming creates a rhythmic backbone that propels Stage Fright’s music forward, giving the songs an undeniable intensity. When Stage Fright formed in 2016, Mickey was the final piece of the puzzle, joining the band after several jam sessions at local venues. His bass lines not only complement Lena’s fiery guitar work and Jake’s emotional vocals but also provide a sense of depth and darkness to the band’s sound. With his punk rock roots, Mickey brings an element of grit and rawness to Stage Fright’s music that gives it an edge and a sense of urgency. As the band works on their next album, Mickey’s contributions will continue to be essential in shaping the band’s evolving sound, pushing them into new territories while staying true to their roots.
