Jake Malone's Bio

Biography

Jake Malone is the powerhouse frontman of The Frights,
known for his raw, gritty vocals that carry the soul of Detroit in
every note. Before forming the band, Jake was a solo artist, developing his distinctive voice that blends the soul of classic rock with a modern, hard-edged sound. His emotionally charged delivery and raw vulnerability quickly caught the attention of fans and fellow musicians alike, setting the stage for the next chapter of his career.

In the fall of 2016, Jake’s musical journey took a new turn when he met
guitarist Lena Wright. The two quickly found their chemistry, blending
Jake’s soulful vocals with Lena’s fiery guitar work. Their jam sessions
evolved into something greater when they added bassist Mickey Adams and drummer Chris Clark, forming The Frights. Together, they
captured the gritty, rebellious spirit of Detroit, creating music that
speaks to those who understand struggle, defiance, and strength.

As the band’s lead vocalist, Jake’s lyrics delve deep into themes of inner conflict, love, and defiance. His raspy voice conveys a sense of
urgency and emotion, connecting with listeners on a personal level.
Whether delivering a hard-hitting anthem or a more introspective ballad, Jake’s ability to communicate the highs and lows of life’s struggles makes him the emotional core of the band. His stage presence is just as magnetic—raw, commanding, and full of energy, drawing fans into every performance.

Now, with The Frights working on their next album, Jake remains committed to evolving as an artist while staying true to his roots. As the band continues to explore new sounds and push boundaries, Jake’s powerful voice and unrelenting passion will remain as a significant feature of the band.
